Big truck, big dog, big hair. Bad attitude.I was sad to see myself at the end of the Blackbird Sister mysteries last month, so I decided to check out Nancy's other series about the sibling of a character from the Blackbird books. Let me just say, Roxy is alot more like Stephanie Plum then Nora Blackbird. It was a good mystery and yes I will check out the next book in the series, so at least it wasn't a waste of reading time. Actually I am in a hurry to get this review done so I can get back to reading. Maybe I'll stop reviewing until my 3 month library card to the big city library expires.

Of course, she has plenty of help getting in and out of trouble, including her sidekick “Nooch” Santonucci, too dumb to say no to whatever Roxy wants to do and strong enough to do it; her widowed aunt Loretta, a lawyer whose big hair and short skirts are as big a help to her in court as her brains; and Patrick Flynn, ex-marine, professional chef, and former high school flame, fresh from Afghanistan to torture Roxy, just like old times.
